However, a young kid comes into the path of one of the soldiers who immediately shouts: 'Make way!' The child is then knocked to the ground by the marching Guardsman who tries to step over him and carries on past the tourists. This footage that was taken from the Tower of London shows a group of tourists taking photographs of the two Guardsmen in their ceremonial bearskin hats as they march across the grounds. However, new footage shows that a child was knocked to the ground by a member of the Queen's Guard after accidentally stepping into his path at the Tower of London. So naturally, the decades-old tradition and discipline remain intact and the marching style remains the same. Queen's Guards are the contingent of infantry responsible for guarding Buckingham Palace and St James's Palace.
